Description
The length of the FEL430 ladder is 4.30m and is suitable for use in most 2 storey properties. When extended from the window, the bottom step of the ladder must be close enough to the ground to allow for a safe escape. Do not use this ladder from heights greater than 4.65m as injury could result.
These measurements are for your guidance only, and you must ensure that they suit your application. The window to which the ladder is attached must be able to support the load of persons using the ladder for escape. The escape window must not be obstructed or covered with grilles or bars. The window must open fully for escape. Check for and avoid outside obstacles such as electricity or telephone wires and fences etc.
The minimum width of the escape window is 300mm. The maximum depth of window sill of the escape window is 340mm.
